Petherapynews.com is the result of an idea that came to me during my training as a dog handler in Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI). As a canine educator and instructor, I have always had a deep passion for the animal world, especially for dogs and horses. After years dedicated to the field of dog training, I decided to broaden my expertise by specializing in animal-assisted interventions.

I am profoundly convinced that animals have the incredible power to positively impact the lives of the people they encounter, which sparked my desire to explore the wonderful world of pet therapy even further.

Petherapynews.com aims to become the reference point for all those practicing animal-assisted interventions in Italy and beyond. Our mission is to highlight the interventions that take place daily across the country and abroad through articles, news, interviews, and informative content.

But that’s not all—I am a strong believer in the importance of ongoing training and continuous development, especially for professionals in the AAI field. For this reason, the portal includes a dedicated training section where we will publish information on certified courses in Italy, officially recognized by the National Reference Center for AAI according to National Guidelines, as well as a section for seminars and conferences organized not only in Italy but also abroad!

All of this came to life from a dream: “To bring a smile with the help of our faithful four-legged companions.” And thus, petherapynews.com was born! A platform where numerous industry professionals will collaborate to provide the best possible information on this beautiful world called pet therapy.

Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it,” and it is from that very dream that this project was born… and this is just the beginning!
